Serve

To serve and help one another, strengthen one another, and love each other. To be united with a kingdom mindset because God is using everyone in the body of Christ. Our goal is that as we are united to each other with no other desire but to follow Christ together.

Fellowship

To strive and build a fellowship that is spiritual, bonded with love, and intimacy. A spiritual body that would together magnify our loving Fathers name.

Worship

For he deserves to be honored and praised for his greatness and love for us. His name is great, and greatly to be praised.

Discipleship

Life is about serving Jesus and serving others. To have the heart of love and the hands of service so that we as his disciples showcase the serving hands of Jesus. To make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost.

FRIDAY/OCTOBER 18
-Kevin Kim/BIBLE CHALLENGE LOG:
Mark 12
When the Pharisees and Herodians came to Jesus they questioned him about the tax to Caesar. When Jesus says to give back to who's it is we should follow this. If God has given all this to us shouldn't we work hard to give back something to God. God has given us great amounts and if we don't give him thanks or give anything back we are not doing the right thing.

-David Rhim/BIBLE CHALLENGE LOG:
Jobs 19:8
He has walled up my way so that i cannot pass and he has set darkness upon my paths.
God's fence had at first kept trouble away from Job but now it was a wall that gave Job no way of escape. the very scale of his suffering is, for Job, a sign of its divine origin. He has walled up my way.

THURSDAY/OCTOBER 17
-Kevin Kim/BIBLE CHALLENGE LOG:
Job 13
Job in these verses is just arguing his case against God. Just like Jacob he fought God to get something out of him. We should all know that like Job we should try to keep a deep conversation with him and work our hardest to stay with him. When Job lost everything he didn't just give up he just kept reaching out to God and tried to talk to him. We should follow this example and talk to him always whenever where ever. Brothers and sisters when we are in our storms we ask for help and even in our great moments we need to still talk to him to stay in check.

-David Rhim/BIBLE CHALLENGE LOG:
Nehemiah 4:14
And i looked and arose and said to the nobles and to the officials and to the rest of the people "Do not be afraid of them. remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes." Do not be afraid is both a command and an exhortation rooted in the call to believe that God can overcome his enemies as he has in the past. there are lot of times that we doubt and fear but with his name we don't have to afraid anything.

WEDNESDAY/OCTOBER 16
-Paul Lee/BIBLE CHALLENGE LOG:
1 Samuel 4-8 When faith in God wavers, faith in man-made objects increases. In a scene reminiscent of the golden calf at Mount Sinai, the people of Israel carry the ark of the covenant into battle, confident that its presence will ensure victory over the Philistines. Instead, they suffer a shattering defeat in which 30,000 lives are lost and the ark of the covenant is captured. You know it was present thousands of years ago when the people of Israel demanded a king just like their neighbors had. It's a tendency for me as well as humans to want what someone else has. You can call it what you may-covetousness, lust, envy, the "grass is greener on the other side" syndrome- but God calls it sin. Contentment, not covetousness, should mark the lifestyle of God's children especially for myself.

MONDAY/OCTOBER 14
-Paul Lee/BIBLE CHALLENGE LOG:
1 Samuel 1-3 The period of the judges is finally nearly at an end. One last judge remains...OH YEA: SAMUEL, a man of godly character and integrity who will guide the nation from judgeship to kinship. You know I realized that Samuel's early life parallels that of another famous judge-Samson. Both are the offspring of barren women and the answer to fervent prayer; both are consecrated to the Lord's service from birth; both enter a society marked by moral decline and spiritual apathy. But while Samson spent much of his life avoiding his calling, Samuel does just the opposite. Even as a child he is quick to hear and obey the Word of the Lord.
