Joseph William “Joe” Frazier

January 12, 1944 – November 7, 2011

Joseph William “Joe” Frazier, also known as “Smokin’ Joe” was a top contender in
his brutal sport, going on to win four heavyweight champion titles, a 1964
Olympic boxing gold medal, and was inducted into the Philadelphia Sports Hall of
Fame.

Legendary heavyweight champion boxer Joe Frazier
has died of cancer at age 67, but up until his death, he believed his Christian
faith was responsible for his success in life.

“Regardless of who you are, you have to think one way, and the right way,
to be accepted by the Man above,” said the warrior. “He calls the shots.”
